IPPE 2018

International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) was held from January 30 to February 1, 2018 in Atlanta, United States and is the world's largest fair for the poultry, meat and animal nutrition industries. Several international decision-makers are present at this event in order to contact other professionals in the field and to learn about the latest technological advances and challenges related to this industry. This year brought together more than 1,200 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors in Atlanta, with about 8,000 international visitors from 129 countries.

The Brazilian Delegation had a program that included the event called Summit Brasil, held in the fair's own convention center, being the meeting point of Brazilian companies with visitors, buyers, investors and foreign entrepreneurs. 19 companies were part of the delegation of 10 Brazilian Pharma & Health affiliates, representing the animal health and nutrition sector; and 9 associated with the Brazil Machinery Solutions project, representing the machinery and equipment sector. In addition, we have the presence of governmental authorities such as the Brazilian Consulate in Atlanta, the Brazilian Association of Animal Proteins (ABPA), the Brazilian Animal Reclining Association (ABRA), Sindirações, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), Apex- Brazil, FINEP, Department of Agribusiness and Biofuels (DAGN). We also have the presence of the specialized magazine of the Brazilian agribusiness sector, Feed & Food, which finalized the media coverage of the Brazilian presence at the fair.

The number of agencies of the government delegation present in this edition of IPPE Expo shows the importance of the synergy between the various governmental agents to encourage the exports of the sector, as well as the increase of technology produced in Brazil.
